S50B32 E30 style
Congrats to Justin, i think you are one of the first around to have this completed.
Justin's car originated at Bimmersport with the previous owner, we got the E30 318is ready for a motor upgrade. The owner felt the M42 engine lacked power and was overall, a poor motor for his liking. He decided to upgrade to the M50 engine in search to cure his itch for power. However, the vehicle was soon let go of and passed on. The new owner, now in the same boat as the original was pondering the ideas of a more powerful engine. The idea of a euro engine swap was in the air and the S50B32 was then decided.
Making this engine fit was no real issue, however we had a little stump with the ECU. However, the Bimmersport and AA team were able to solve this ECU issue quickly and finished the car on time to the owner.
Here are some pics:

Hey guys, I'm justin the owner of this monster .
It's not cheap! I'll tell you that. Better have 10g's laying around. Lol
Nope. The only things I had to change was, oil pan , break booster,
headers, and an all aluminum rad.

Looks good, why not clean the engine bay before dropping the motor in?

it's running nice and hard. Sucks on the hwy tho. The 3.25 LSD
isn't cutting it. So I'm looking for a 2.91 LSD.
As for the breaks, they suck ! I can't stop, do to the fact I'm still
running stock e30 breaks.

ya sure no problem, wen ever u want give me a shout. Well I had to change my break booster cuz it wouldn't clear the motor. I don't man, i don't think you can run
stock e30 breaks , it's to much power..
You wouldn't to any one selling 3.91 LSD ?
I went with the all aluminum rad because, I had 1 to many over heating problems in the pass.. If u want to b safe go all aluminum because the
plastic won Handel the heat.
By any chance is your name Mike ?
