What colour should I paint my calipers?

  1. Red
  2. Black
  3. Silver
  4. Other (??)

Well, its a poll time. Since theres been alot of discussion on another thread in regards to the colour I should paint my calipers this weekend, I thought it might be interesting to see what the "public opinion" is?

Leave'em red. The contrast helps IMO, even if it isn't a BBK...

Although I'll admit: silver would look amazing against those dark wheels.

I chose silver, but would be nice if you can find a paint that mimics the OEM silver/goldish look. Red doesn't look all that bad though. Great progress this year! btw, fixed your thread title.

I say go with a white kinda colour. Not cream white, but something that will stand out against the rims. I think it would look good, but will also show dirt like crazy. lol

I don't really like bringing attention to calipers unless the are from a BBK. BMW doesn't exactly make the nicest looking OEM calipers (aside from BMW Perf)

Black or silver gets my vote. Something subtle.

Exactly, I would leave it stock or go with black.

Or just get a BBK .

interesting thooughts..... going to probably paint tomorrow afternoon if I can get work "finished up" early. Gonna need a power bleeder if I'm gonna attempt myself vs waiting till night and going to buddies garage....

Anyone got a power bleeder I can borrow afternoon (late post; I know..)...... or anyone bored and want to spend afternoon doing brake job (caliper rebuild included @ no extra charge LOL)......????

Silver I think would look best, as it gives contrast without trying to look like an aftermarket setup. IMO bright color oem single piston calipers are kinda ricer. Really like that car though.

thanks for taking poll. Pretty sure the calipers are going to be silver.... Can't see the black with Graphite rims. Paintshopped all the colours and silver looked good; red still my fav, but going to give silver a try since it seems to be the a popular choice (and the wife thinks it going to look good too. LOL). Going to head out shortly.
