Need Suspension Advice

The shock are pretty much done on my 328is. I was thinking of replacing the shocks along with the springs. What is a good ride height for daily driving. I have the factory sport suspension on right now and I would like it a little lowered. I got priced $850 for Koni shocks and springs with 1.5" drop in the front and .75" at the back. Is any one running a setup with that spec if so how does it look?!?! Should I look into Blisteins with HR springs?!?! If you guys have pictures pls post .. anything helps.. Thanks!!

I had koni yellows with H&R sport, it was a pretty good setup and you can adjust the front stiffness a bit which is cool when your going on a trip.

Heard good things about Konis and I recommend H&R Sport springs. Firm rude, but not harsh at all.

I have the Bilstien PSS kit on mine and I love it. I like the fact that it is adjustable so if you decide you want to change the hight later you can, that and the ride in my opinion is the best for an E36. I run mine at the lowest possible setting and the ride is still fantastic.

I got a set of FK coilovers for like $500 US, I can't see paying more and not getting coilovers.

I have an 04 330Xi and I went with the H&R springs and Bilstein combo..... Works great!! See attached pics. Sorry about the dark ones, taken with my Blackberry with very poor lighting... Pics of front and rear installations.

The pic with the stock rim is the the rear whell after the install (before installing my summers) and the pic with the M6 rim is from last summer before the upgrade. Much better look and handling!!

Painted the calipers and installed SS Brake lines @ same time.

Love it! Car handled great before; even better now... Went with the Sport package (not tracking the car; and daily driver)......

I should mention I did the H&Rs first, than added the Bilsteins about 1 week later (that is why the the pics show the H&Rs on stock springs). Tried to get away with just the H&Rs to replace broken rear springs, but the stock springs couldn't handle them (170K on stock shocks at the time) and I added the Bilsteins 1 week after.

Try parinting the calipers and installing SS Brakes lines if you can. You will notice the difference in braking response and calipers; well I just hate rusted dirty bland calipers.....

The last is a pic of the car with the new shocks and springs and a few other mods I'd done @ the time..... A few more since..... LOL It never ends...
