Question Z3 Good Deal?

I've never been a Bimmer owner, but recently came across a 2000 Z3 with just under 100,000 miles on it. Looks clean. Not looking for a daily driver, just a fun car to spin around in on the weekends. I would not be pushing it to its limits or anything.

Any advice from the experienced BMW owners? Do these sports cars hold up past 100k, or am I most likely looking at a money trap?

Any hints on what to look for in this particular car?

100,000 miles or 100,000k?

None the less, if well maintained bimmers can last you to a nice 500,000 k plus all depending on if it was regularly maintained, Try and get service records for it, find out more background try and get the VIN number and run it through carfax.

Most common problem with Z3's...typically M's is with the rear subframe. What damameke said.
