Lightbulb bmw diagnostic - Free

New to the forum, if anyone needs a BMW diagnostic for their oDB2 compliant car . I can give you one for free. Yes free!!

I am not a mechanic.
I have nothing to sell and only want to help our community out and possibly make some new friends.

I have a working copy of carsoft that I learned to use on my own.The output strangely is in german but its simple enough to translate.

I am located at warden and danforth. If you need a diagnostic just send me a personal note here on the forum and I will do my best to oblige.

Thanks,

Dave

Probably a huge noob question, but what would one of these scans entail and show?

It can code or reset all modules, errors in the car. It can pull all serial numbers, eprom version codes, and manufacture codes electronically from your vehicle.

It is a big asset for diagnosing emissions systems, and all sensors in the car.

From engine check light to, abs, DME, etc...

Does a lot more that the PEAKE tool... Alot! thought it does have it's limitations.

peanu boy....I cant answer this...

So I would suggest you find someone who is an expert at Carsoft and ask them this question...e.g. call the dealer.

I am sorry I cannot be of more help but let me know if you need an engine checklight reset...

DRL can not be turned off with Carsoft. GT1 computer can tho.

I have one that also displays all hte error codes in German. Its a pain in the ass.

What ever you do dont mess with the transmission adaptation values.
