Brock B2's my man. 18 by 8.5 vw mk3 gti suspension and vr6 conversion.i just wanna se how it looks like in red.Montana green is the nicest color on a2's but the tornado red is a nice color a stand out nicely 2.I myself am doing a 1.8t conversion sicne the vr6 is outdated adn the new vr6 with 24v is too expensive so i got myself a 1.8t engine from the audi tt quattro 225hp but using new gti tranny from the new vr6 sicne it's a ncie 6 speed has same ratio as the audi ttt quattro 6 speed but is designed for front wheel drive what i have but all wheel coming soon so i'll have the other tranny in my garage for when the time comes to do awd swap. Those are the plans too cold to do the 1.8t swap right now so i'll hold off until it gets warmer, and it should be finished for the summer.

Yeah the 18's look nice but they rub on the wells sometimes i dont know if i'm gonna keep them on.I might cut the wells and re weld them to fix that.I still need some parts for the 1.8t swap i have the engine so no problem with that i'm still looking for the right ecu for it and wiring harness, also some people told me i might have to get a speedo 2 wit the ignition other wise i will have to deal with the immobilizer, and that's goonna ge a pain since it's in the speedo and it sends the code to the ecu to start teh car so without it i dotn know if it will start i will have to figure something around that for now and i'll put in the tt speedo later when i get the other parts for the mounting of the tt dash. Please someone pshop my car tornado red please!
Oh yeah i almost forgot i'm getting the bananas shaved of the front fenders for a cleaner look and maybe m3 style mirrors.

Thanks everybody.Yeah i have some big plans for the gti,but in the end it should pay of nicely. Thanks for the pchop berry that red i think is exactly tornado red it looks great and yeah the M3 style tails do looks better with the red that's why i'm getting the car repaint to tornado red,but no worries i have another project in the works which is a montana green gti with the 24v vr6 and the 6 speed.I'm also getting new tails on my current gti i found nice ones form tmtuning.com crystal clear and red.I am getting the orange inserts removed for a nice look and getting merc bulbs so the turn signals looks nice when off but still glow orange when on so i dont get any tickets. Here the link for the tails http://tmtuning.com/golf2_jetta2/cry...aillights.html

Yeah it sits pretty low.I'm gonna have a problem with the oil pan form the 1.8t it's gonna sit very very close to the ground,i'm gonna have to watch where i drive, lol. All in good fun of course.

Well i've seen some pics of the conversion, and they sit low as hell lower than the vr6 for sure. The longitudinal 1.8t oil pans sit really low and the transverse oil pan wount fit.So i just gotta be careful where i drive plus my car is dropped alittle. So it makes ti even worse.
