Oldest bmw i have ever seen!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So on my way to Laguna Beach, California. I see this classic car being driven by some old dude. The closer I get, the more I wanted to know what it was. Then a glimpse at the front end and that beloved BMW emblem instantly put a smile on my face. It wasn't just an old dude, it was a fellow BMW enthusiast! Enjoy the pics.

You're right it is a classic 328. Not sure of the year though. Somewhere between 1930-1940. Rare car, glad i got to see it in person.

Yes, they were made from 1936 to 1939, but some were made during the war and some were made from parts after 1945 at the EMW (factory that stayed in the Russian zone).

Forget no snow, try no jacket winters. Hell while i was there the weather was beautiful. 25 degrees and up, every single day. The last weekend I was there, 30+ degrees.

I wonder how much that car is worth? I was looking up info on it and I'm almost sure it's either a 1936 or 1937. I know it's a rare car, just curious as to how much something like that would go for.

most of the ones in NA are in fact post-war build EMW badged as pre-war BMW.
I remember talking to a guy from former East Germany, who worked for Wartburg (pre-war BMW factory and post-war EMW factory), who mentioned that 328 body shells were still in storage as late as 1950s.
