Any help appreciated car wont star

So guys I have a 2002 330i automatic and this morning it wont start. Basically the car won't even crank I'm just wondering if you guys know of anything I should check before I bring it to a garage. I was thinking maybe I should try to boost the car as the car has 168 000 km with the original battery perhaps the battery is dead ??? any help would be appreciated guys thanks

Dead battery is the most likely problem. If it's the original battery, it's due.

You can take it to a place like Canadian Tire to get it load tested for free but if it's the original battery, it's a safe bet that the problem is a dead battery.
