18" over 19" on E46?

Am in quite a bind i am about ready to buy the wheels, and am not sure if i should get Staggered 18" or 19" rims. keeep in mind it will be lowered about 2" in the front and 1.4" in the rear. What should i do?

19'sssss

Anything smaller on a E46 and you'll be dubbed a waste of sperm

All jokes aside, maybe one of the many guys in here running 19's can chime in on the ride quality.

I know there are a couple E36's running it and i've heard no complaints.

hoenstly, i have 18s for winters and 19s/20s for summer. i gotta tell you there's a bit of a difference. in terms of looks, no doubt the 19s will look nicer. but if you want comfort, 18s is the way to go. 18s ride so much better.

Definate difference in ride quality between the 18" & 19".

18" do give you a more compliant ride, the 19" give you a tighter ride, but at the expense of comfort.

19's for sure.. dont listen to people saying 19's are so harsh ride, i drove on 18's CSL's on my e36, and now on my e46 i have 19" CSL's, and to be honest its not as bad as people make it sound. However, you do have to be more careful of potholes, 19's are less forgiving...

The ride differences between 18-19" is nothing.. however on my truck.. the difference from a 295/45/18 to a 295/30/23 is very noticeable!!! Don't worry so much about it.. 19" will be fine on your e46! Plus we all know it's what you really want!

Trust me, you'll regret getting 18's on an e46. 19's fill up the gaps very nicely and if they're the right offset you should have no problems on a lowered car.
