Clutch could be perfect. Thing is with clutchs, if you have a decent driver the clutch could last you 30 years depending on how you drive ect. Also, if you take it to a BMW cert mechanic and get it checked over for a few $$, you could save yourself headache and your wallet by making a smart choice.

It being an M3, I'm sure someone would have taken decent care of it or it could have been babied. I would spend the money and take it to a dealership and see what needs to be done and have it done correctly or even bring it to a garage on the webby like Stance Factory.. As long as it checks out fine, I see no harm in the switch.
