Just as an FYI - i checked the FIA website (http://www.fia.com/resources/documen...pj_art_253.pdf) and my bar location is ok. If you look at section 6.2, it says

standard.
Since my seat IS FIA approved, i'm good to go. Plus with the higher position, it's very close to the horizontal, AND when I'm sitting in the seat (with my new HANS device), my shoulders are above the bottom of the hole and in fact the shoulder belts are slightly below the horizontal.

So all is good! Thanks for pointing it out though - it's always good to double check.
