Since the late model tanks have a single pump there's a siphoning tube to transfer the fuel from the driver's side to the passenger side. Apparently the system on the aftermarket tanks isn't that great which I found out last year.

At Mosport through turns 1 & 3 I was getting fuel starvation with just under half a tank. I had the same issue at Cayuga through turn 1 as well. I didn't have that issue the year before when I had the factory tank with even less fuel in it.

Seems like the easiest solution is to install a transfer pump in place of the level sender on the driver's side and T it into the return line going to the passenger side, but apparently that'll mess with the fuel gauge so I'll have to look into that.

The only other option is to install a surge tank, but if I was going to do that I should have done it when I had the tank out because running the lines will be a pain, unless I were to mount it in the engine bay somewhere.
