Not really... Basically at some point everything i am going thru an e46 owner will go thru or replace the parts... Other can correct me if i am wrong.

None of my issues were ever a surprise to me. Sometimes the timing sucks and the only real "surprise" was Snowmageddon...

Do your research, ask around... Cost of maintenance is always cheaper than "break-fix".
