If you have static and your fuse keeps blowing you have a bad ground somewhere. If it's an aftermarket radio check to make sure your wiring is connected properlly. When I installed mine the new wiring harness had different colours of wires on it, so I had to use a 9v batt to find out wich wire was connected to what speaker in the car. The rest is simple, the ground, power are always the same color.
