most of the stuff off of there is high quality fiberglass
the e46m3 bumper for an e36 is supposed to be made from the same material as stock bumpers are made from. So that could mean other items are like that too. I'll check for you.
They sent me pictures of the fiberglass kits up close, and they're petty heavy duty, they're not thin flimsy kits at all.

And yes freight i believe is cheaper than air, but it takes longer to arrive.
