I think basically you want it to match the ridge on the top of the doors and fenders.. If you fill it in completely it won't look good at all, and the indent is deeper on the bottom of the molding then on the top.

Good luck.. it's going to take many hours of block sanding, but it's well worth the time!.. you should use the Breyton side skirts to cover the rockers and a Lumina front spoiler clip.. it will look titties!
