I was doing some math here, if you're on the stock 225/50/16 tires, have a 3.91 diff, and are reading 220km/h off the stock speedometer, then you're more then likely doing like 205km/h or so (7% error on the stock speedo, when I govern at 206km/h my speedo almost reads 220kmh), then you should be at like 6750rpm @ the true 205km/h, and 7250rpm @ 220km/h.

I'm with Pat on this one, to just get to 7400rpm you need some decent valvetrain strengthening (springs.....etc).
