SpudBoy - just a suggestion. take 35 north instead of south off hwy48. the roads up there are INSANE!!!!!! even if we go for 1/2 hour north of 48 you won't be disappointed. it does eventually meet back up with some real roads.
hwy 35 north of hwy48 is lined by trees on both sides and it forms a nice canopy over the road. but the road itself is beyond description. i couldn't go more than 60km/h cause the roads are that tight and twisty!!!!
