ive been doing some research about cam adjustment and i found that the nv m50's can be retarded or advanced by +4 or -4 deg via the cam gears, people have said retarding the exhaust cam and advancing the intake cam will help with low end torque and quicker turbo spool expecially for larger turbos, i wouldnt do the full four deg but maybe -2 for the exhaust and +2 for the intake to see if spool come sooner. the cams and pistons dont come in contact with only 4 deg. of adjustment
