Had mine in Waskaganish Quebec for nearly 4 years. -45c at the coldest. Just used 5w 50 syn. battery blanket and block heater. As for rough roads, the stock suspension and new strut/shock mounts are the best. People were shocked an old car could last up there... some people went through 2 cars in the same period... lol
