Yea, ours was about $4600, all interisland hops included.

Another tip - go during the first or second week of November. That's the start of their low season, the rainy season, but it's not like a light switch that nov 1st it starts down pouring. We saved a couple grand going the first week of nov.

Also - start looking 6-8 months in advance. Better deals are usually available further out. If you are using an agent, put them on notice that this is what you are looking for and to call you as soon as a deal comes up.

If you pick the intercontinental - there is a "trick" with a program called the "ambassador club". It's $200 for annual membership, but it includes ALOT of stuff like automatic room upgrade, free water in your room daily, fresh fruit when you arrive in your room - not to mention that they treat you like gold as an ambassador member.
