That happened to me, as well as having my slave cylinder drive a pin through my clutch fork causing my throwout bearing to be ground into a fine powder.
SMG's are high maintenance tranny's. What you save in clutch wear you more than make up for in everything else that needs to be done. If you get serviced at the dealer, prepare your anus.
