Had a friend write off a car, and they did try to put the entire cost of the car on the card, but the credit card company took care of it.

- Talk to you dealership or fav bodyshop you know.
They get good rates (e-car especially).

I used to rent cars from e-car through the dealer on special cases for well under $20/month.
