1. the bumper is one peace and you will only cut the lower lip of it
the plastic is really good quality so cutting trough it is not that hard and the paint will not chip either.
2. You will not find a bent joint anywhere unless you get it custom made, and like you said that will lower it and honestly make it look bad.
the way to do it is you go to a muffler shop and have them cut the tip off. basically they will just cut the bend out of it and leave only the straight part (they did it for free for me and it only took 5min )
the only thing is that our muffler has a 2 1/2'' diameter and you will need the the overlapping pipe to be greater than that.
For this reason i kinda had to Frankenstein mine because my tip had the exact same dimension
