Multiple meanings...

1) Racetrack term. Driving 8/10ths is using 80% of available grip/track/limits/ability. I often drift every corner at the track... Hence driving 11/10ths.

2) Improper fraction amounting to an equivalent 110%. That's how I do things, i'm a perfectionist - (my German side?)
