Stage 1: Diet Time
After getting the car home, I noticed that something was a little off about the back seats. The backrest is leather but the bench is cloth (odd).
Anyways, I took advantage of the nice weather one weekend (and loopholes in my home owners agreement which prevents mechanical work in the driveway) to "clean" the car.
I "cleaned" the back end of the car and got rid of the:
- Dirty seats
- Dirty seat belts
- Dirty rear parcel shelf, speakers, and sunshades (I actually kind of wanted to keep those )
- Dirty carpet
- Dirty trunk liner
- Dirty spare rim
- Dirty OEM jack
All in all I managed to "clean" 86 lbs. out of the car
I figure the sound deadening and the door cards should be good for another 15 lbs. total so I should easily be able to remove ~100 lbs from the car
YAY!
