I would guess that the seller has been fielding a lot of questions about the car, and assumes that it is going to sell itself. What the seller may not realize is that an M3 that needs a lot of work needs to be sold at a significant discount due to the price of parts to get one back into good shape.
Even good examples of these cars will drain wallets. Once rust and engine rebuilds come into the picture prices climb exponentially.
