So almost everything is back together, front end is on, diff is in. I just so happened to find a short shifter in my garage that was leftover from a parts car, don't know what kind it is but it feels excellent. Took the car around the block last weekend and it was running rough, definitely think the timing is off. I am going to time it again tonight and see what happens, fingers crossed.
