This whole argument is stupid. You need to equate their earnings vs. costs of living to make sense. It's exactly like a stupid debate I had in undergrad. Some hippies were BSing about horrible working conditions and slave labor in Asia, their argument centering on the wages. All I had to do was show what that "low wage" can buy the worker, and game over.
