That depends. I'm not sure what the going rate on a 02 325i with 135K is, but if I’m offering $500 to $1000 above book value then there is a reason for that. If the buyer is smart they would realize this is a well maintained low KM, quality vehicle.
I remember some of the garbage I test drove when I was buying in 2009. Young guys showing up with rust buckets that had $160K, in absolute atrocious shape asking book value....I instantly turned way. When I met the gentleman who sold me this car I made him an offer on the spot and basically gave him his asking price because I knew instantly this was a mint, quality bimmer, with all service records up to date, on time and done right. It turned out to be a good move as I’ve had 0 issues since the purchase.
