have you driven the car? drive it on the track, and see how it stops...only way to know. brakes stop and slow down a car, nothing more. I'm sure that the engineers at BMW have equipped the M5 with brakes that are sufficient enough to stop the car they've produced. Don't mean to try and sound like a know it all, but just think about it, M cars are the best in nothing, but exceptional in everything!
