It probably doesn't make a difference, but I can't help but think that having it bolted to the engine will shake the hell out of the AFM, which might not be good for it? The rubber intake boot isolates vibration away from the AFM under normal circumstances, but like I said, I don't know if it matters.
Rudy just wants his AFM to die quicker, that way he'll have an excuse to build a stand alone set-up. That way he can build an ITB set-up and run the car with an alpha-n fueling algorithm
