The rubber intake boot isolates vibration away from the AFM under normal circumstances, but like I said, I don't know if it matters.

Rudy just wants his AFM to die quicker, that way he'll have an excuse to build a stand alone set-up. That way he can build an ITB set-up and run the car with an alpha-n fueling algorithm
