I found by sucking out the fluid and replacing worked easy. I would repeat process after a few days of driving until the fluid was nice and clear.
This is what I did.
suction the resovoir ... refill ... start car & turn wheel to both extremes ... stop car
repeat 5 times (or so)
I have done a power steering flush on a three different cars/vans in the past using the recommended method of disconnecting the return line, etc & honestly it's just not worth the pain PLUS it takes two people.
I thing the empty & refill method (done over & over) is just as effective.
