If you get ok at welding with flux and move to gas, you'll be amazing with gas. Gas is SO easy compared to flux. With flux, just make sure you get a stainless steel brush and brush away the "film" each time you stop the weld. Restarting without brushing will contaminate the weld. It does make you consider your welds more carefully and concentrate on doing long smooth welds.

Curious, what are you using to cut the metal?
Hey thanks for the tips Jay sure going to need any help I can get.... Im very manual I should be ok at welding. Thanks for the link really appreciate it just just downloaded it now!! very nice.

Going to cut metal with a metal bosch circular saw (does angles and everything) or I can get metal supermarket to cut them to size.
