You're better off with a 2006 330 which are swapping hands around $15ish for clean low mileage examples. You're also saving vs. those 323's. The only reason they're cheap is because BMW flooded the mkt with them by offering really cheap lease rates to get people that may have otherwise shopped elsewhere. I've been in several 323's auto and stick, and Ugh is all I have to say. A great chassis waiting for a more powerful engine IE 328, 330, 335 etc.....
i did enjoy driving it i took if for 2 test drives and took it to rmp i hear you when you say gutless but its enough for me if i wanted something with allot of power i would go m3 im more or less looking for something semi efficient i liked how the car drove. deff more power the the 318i but i do know what your saying hmm idk
