Thanks for the kind words to both Chromius and bmwconnect.

And Chromius, I agree with you -- it amazes me that on four blown shocks, and despite it's age, the 540I is still a lot better to drive than many newer cars. Hence the mental wrestling match going on right now. If I ever got this thing fully right, it would be amazing.
