Yes I did it myself, I sprayed a bit under the sideskirts (working underneath the car) and a small amount got sprayed on the side skirt gasket.
Come on Joe its not rocket science, unless the stuff they use at the Rust Check shops is different from the stuff they sell at Canadian Tire (which I doubt), I don't see how its not the product.
BTW, E39 doors have a rubber gasket under the doors, something to consider if they are to spray under the doors.

I'm sure Rust Check is a fine product, all I meant is it might react with rubber. Even Krown might do it, but from the reviews I read, Rust Check is more likely to react with a "virgin" or untreated rubber.
