The Type Rs will be just fine. As I mentioned, if you're running them off of the stock H/K amp, anything will do. As for sound quality, they will sound better than your stock H/Ks, though they will probably be a bit quieter (due to their higher impedance). If the price is right, go for it- they'll provide nice fill to bridge the gap between your fronts and sub.
