I don't know why it is different.
So on your car there were five and only five green wires with a red stripe?
mine just has the three as pictured, I'm wondering if I should mess with them or not.
Do you know which one of the green red wires runs to the headlight switch, if any at all?
As for the splice panel I just removed the smaller one above it (not really a splice panel not sure what it is called it had two plastic nuts), then sort of wiggled and pried the splice panel off. It has two clips sort of. I could get a picture of it tomorrow.
It is weird that your wires were just out of the panel.
So convenient lol.
