Out with the Wood Grain; In comes the Carbon Fiber

Some pics of my conversion from the Wood Grain interior trim that came on my e46 330Xi, to a Carbon Fiber wrap.... The wrap is real carbon fiber, but unlike the sheets which require a lot of work, the use a 3M adhesive back and are already coated with a clear polymer....... Wasn't sure when I purchased, was afraid it was similar to a vinyl wrap.... but when it arrived it appeared so stiff I thought I'd never get it to form properly. A little heat and manipulation..... and well the results are below.... Just got dash trim almost done.... Need to final sand edges once more before installing..... Will finish contre console tomorrow.... then I'll need 1 more sheet to complete door trim..... The last pics is the "before" pic... Will post "after" pics when completed.... Likely tomorrow night..... CHeers!!!
