I really hope Schumacher does take over while Massa is off recovering. He'll show up the two Ferrarri drivers and hopefully light a fire under their asses. In regards to starting a new series, that has been thwarted by Bernie, and co, with the Concorde agreement. In a nutshell the 2012 season is going to put a limit on the differences of the cars. Ferrari will still build their car for example but they'll have to use the same downforce/suspension/tires/and power, if they build a more powerful engine, then they'll restrict it so all cars are more equal and then it comes down to the drivers, how well they drive, and how well they could set up their car (driver/engineer realtions) if you will.
