it's partially based on Canadian's incompetence to demand better pricing. We've consistently always paid way more than MSRP for our cars here, creating a separate market from the US. The USA has better cars, better selection, lower mileage often, and way better pricing. Now that the US-Canadian dollar is unequal again, we've created this separate, more expensive Canadian market for used cars. Used car sales across Canada have actually gone up in the past few months because of the US-Canadian dollar disparity. If you bought an M3 last year, chances are its worth more this year than last year, that's how retarded the used car market is right now. We're getting jipped as Canadians because we can't get cars with US prices and options- part of the benefit of living in Canada.
