Lake country pads are really good and popular. as for polish, it depends on how much you want to spend. If money isn't an issue, Menzerna is a very popular brand. Most people start with the Super Intensive Polish, and then work down to the Nano Polish. This has been the most popular combination I've seen. You'll probably need 2 orange pads and 2 white to find the right combination that you need for your paint.

If you're on a budget, most people recommend Poor Boys SSR. You'll probably need SSR1 and SSR2.5

When buffing, always start with the lightest combination, in this case, start with the nano and white, then move up, nano/orange, SIP/white, SIP/orange. Work up till you start to see a significant improvement in the swirls. You should be able to use this combination with the entire car. With a random orbital, it's very hard to go wrong.
