I have a stock radio/tape Player in my 540 with a 6 disc CD player in the trunk. I have been using a cassette tape thingie to plug in my I-Pod. It works pretty good...except the head alignment seems to be off so that I only get the right channel (unless I stick my finger into the tape slot and push down on the tape thingie...then I get both channels)

Should I try another thingie? Is there a shop that can adjust my tape player?

Is there a kit I can use to give me a mini-jack input? I really don't need the CD player
