Yeah, understeer is horrible with a staggered setup. Throw in a non locking diff and you're all set, like me!

225/40/17? Must be the Nitto 555, as that is the only tire produced in that size. That definitely shouldn't rub.
And I stated that I have non-staggered rims, which are the same specs for the front as the staggered ones (17x7.5 ET41). This was what the factory put on the car with 235/40/17s, of course it doesn't rub.
