If you do the shifter, heed ALL the advice you've ever read about the process...

I'd also be willing to help, since I did mine less than 3 months ago.

Oh, I picked up a kit from Pelican using the Z3 shifter with new bushings. I should have bent my shifter to keep the original gear placement but I'm happy with it and the cost was very reasonable.
