Strut bearing question

Quick question about front strut bearings. I know there is a difference between the pre-96 and 96+, (the pre-96 being centered) but is there a difference between the non-m and m3 components? If someone happens to have the corresponding part numbers I'd appreciate it. Also, anyone heard of the the front reinforcement rings? I think they are about $10-15 a piece from the stealer.

Strut bearings

M3 strut bearings are offset. Regular ones aren't.
I installed the reinforcements (don't notice much difference). They aren't very expensive.

are you sure? I have offset bearings installed now, and was under the impression they were the originals. I have a 98 323is btw... Anyway, thanks for the response. Anyone with part #'s? I can't find the bearings on realOEM...
