how to use these stuffs?
 
Ok finally I bought 3 things from Canadian Tires.

1. Meguiar's Paint Cleaner

2. Meguiar's Polish

3. Meguiar's NXT Tech Wax

Now I know how to use a wax but haven't try those two paint cleaner and polish.

1. Paint Cleaner
should I just apply those on the car and wait until it dries? Then wipe it with micro fiber tower?

2 Polish
Same direction as paint cleaner?

I was thinking should I buy a clay.. but I decided not to because I think those 3 products are enough for me..

clean...polish...then wax...

if you have no idea how to use it...just pay a professional to do it for you...

even though they are relatively safe for clear coat...you can still **** up if you dont know whats going on...

claybar FTW
if you have lots of swirls, i would suggest the 4 stage process

wash (this doesnt count as a step because it has to be done anyway)claybar- scratch&swirl removal - seal &glaze - wax

the claybar cleans off all contaminants and stuff that the "paint cleaner" cant get to, but this process is pretty particular, and if you drop the claybar, throw it out and go get a new one
also, get yourself a decent buffer, 8-11" is nice, but try to keep the product off of unpainted trim, and get a the bonnet kit, microfibre clothes (for buffing out the material) and terry clothe (for rubbing in compound/product in the smaller harder to get areas) i saw a really nice handy cordless 6" at CT a little while ago that was one sale, wish i bought it, because i hate it when the cord keeps rubbing up against the paint when im polishing...
btw, this is a 5+ hr process just to let you know....

If you want to take care of your vehicle, throw the paint cleaner out. It contains abrasives and will cause swirls in inexperienced hands.

Don't worry about polishing, your hand cannot break down the polish enough to show any kind of reasonable result.

Wash, claybar, and wax.

alright I am going to return my paint cleaner and polish chemical.

scratch&swirl removal = which brand?

seal &glaze = which one are you using?

I use a variety of different products, but none of them can be found in store. I'd recommend against a sealant as they're more difficult to apply than a wax.

For store brand, many people have reported success with Meguiars NXT. For claybar, use any store-brand product. There's one or two companies that hold the patents for detailing clay so there's little variation in quality between makes. Just don't buy liquid claybar, it's a cheap marketing gimmick.

For clearcoat imperfections such as swirls and scratches, you'll be unable to remove them without a buffer. If you're serious about removing them, contact a professional.

I'd agree with Holden here,

Although this is my personal regimen for a full detail:
1) wash
2) claybar
3) seal
4) carnauba wax
Provides a very deep shine and I just follow up with a wash/wax every two weeks or so *th-up*

That step refers to a sealant. Sealants are a synthetic product designed for great durability. Typical durability of a sealant ranges from 3-6 months. They can be engineered to shine, however the "look" is greatly inferior to a natural carnauba wax. Consequently, many users of sealants apply a topper coat of carnauba to add depth.

alright now here is the real problem.

few months ago I found some scretches so I put touch up paint + clear coat.

Work was done poorly and now I can see the scretch mark much obviously.

should I use a sandpaper (400) so scretch that out?

No, bring it to a pro. And never use 400 grit sandpaper on automotive paint. The strongest sandpaper I use is 1000 grit wet-sanding paper.

Sealants are modern 'waxes' are engineered to bond to the surface and last for months. Carnauba wax in any brand or form is a natural product and will only last for weeks (maybe 3-5 weeks) on a daily use car. Salt in winter will remove Carnauba right away.

My proven "Combo" is Klasse AIO + 3 coats of SG (Acrylic) then S100 (Carnauba)wax applied every 3 weeks. Phenomenal on the 354 silver. I get 6+ months of protection from the Klasse and the added gloss of the S100 which is the easiest paste wax I have ever used (mind you it smells like funeral candles).

Never put clearcoat on the touch up until it's fixed. Start with 2000 grits and wet sand it until it's level up. Then you will need a rotory polisher to take it off. If you don't have rotory polisher then don't wet sand it.
