lol. 15 minutes, and plastic polish, anyone can do it themselves.

I have tryed those....never gets as shiny, and it fades again in a few months...You get what you pay for...

Isn't it just cheaper to pick up a set of headlights in good condition. They sell for -/+ $50 and usually are in pretty good (like new) shape for that price.

Depends what car you have, E36's are cheap, others not so much! And for $50 you wont get much...in good condition anyways...I sell E36's for $50 each and they all sell out...

Just curious, are you going to start refinishing wheels now too?

Canadian Tire offers the same service (highly doubt its the same quality) for $45/each+taxs. Maybe he should send them a complaint letter!:huh?:

As in every service, time is $$$...some people have better things to do then fix things on cars. Thats whey we are here! Its like getting a coffee at Tim Hortons; you can pay the $1.24... or grinde your own beans, and boil some water...for $0.24...But damn i'm glad i dont have to deal with that in the morning!*wave*

i myself, dont mind a lil hard work though. Especially for my car. Not that it matters in this case, my headlights are glass.

I have polished e36 headlight myself useing micromesh kits. I can tell you to get those results posted here is alot of work. For $80 I would never have done it myself. Bump for eurostyle looks good.

Has anybody gone to get their lights cleaned recently? If so how did it turn out, and estimation wise how long u think they will look mint for?

I've done it myself and it's not an easy job. It's time consuming. With today's plastic and Lexan headlight lenses, this needs to be done every few years. Hand applying PlastX alone won't cut it.
It's great that Eurostyle provides this service 'coz a lot of folks out there just don't have the time or tools to do it.*th-up*

Work on normal wear pitted, facelifted e39 lens as well?

It works on almost anything! I'll be re-finishing the lights on my Grand Cherokee in a week or so, you should stop by the see the before/after results!*wave*
