HONESTLY I THINK THEY ARE TWO OF THE BEST LOOKING RIMS I HAVE EVER SEEN AND THEY ARE PRICED REALLY GOOD, BUT I HAVE NEVER HEARD OF THE ALT BRAND NAME BEFORE:confused: , HAS ANYONE EVER SEEN THESE RIMS ON AN E36?

JMW 03-06-2007 12:43 AM

JMW 03-06-2007 02:02 AM

bad taste ...lol jk
i jsut dont think those rims would look very good on a e36 ..

tig 03-06-2007 02:17 AM

ya thats true might not look great on an e36, the AT-334 s the one in the second pic with the big lip look nice tho those might look ok on an e36

Dr. Flyview 03-06-2007 02:25 AM

Actually I'm really digging those rims too man. They have simplicity which no BBS has... maybe BBS are lighter or somehow better for performance though, I don't know about that.

tig 03-06-2007 02:34 AM

ya but i gave up on the performance part of my car when i decided to by a 318 lol , 328s were way too much on insurance, so i m not too worried about those rims slowing my car down cuz its already pretty slow

tig 03-06-2007 02:39 AM

anyone know of a place in toronto that might carry alt rims? cuz i have never seen them around, but i wanna go take a look at them in person then decide if i would want to buy them

Big Chin 03-06-2007 01:33 PM

Wheels Direct Sells them... Oh they might still as far as I know the line was getting discontinued...

They are at McCowan and Sheppard... or www.wheels-direct.com

BennyL 03-06-2007 02:20 PM

your gonna regret putting those things on your 318

i had some 17-inch M3 replica rims on mine for 2 days and it made the car feel like an absolute brick. i mean, i know all about being slow... i drive an automatic 318 vert... but big heavy no-name rims REALLY make a big (negative) difference on any car, and ESPECIALLY a 318.

trust me, you'll regret it.

lukeh 03-06-2007 03:11 PM

if you like that style, look into hartge reps, and breytons.

carjoe 03-06-2007 04:05 PM

They remind me of Breytons, vision maybe? I can't remember the exact name...I like the seond one with the lip.

I had a set of multi spoke rims, every time I washed the car I regretted it...I had 15 spoke ADR's. Every time I had to wash each spoke by hand including the lip behind the spokes. I think I spent more time on the rims than the rest of the car. Never again will I buy a multi spoke. Well, I'd make the exception for some M5 replica's but that's it! Nothing above a 6 spoke.

qimis 03-07-2007 12:41 AM

First one looks like Carlsson 1/16 knock off and the second one looks like Breyton Magic Racing knock off ... They look "okay", but wont look good on E36.

What's your budget? it might help narrowing down the options.

tig 03-07-2007 01:12 PM

you dont think the breyton magic style ones will look good on an e36? well i dont wanna go over $1500 that would be my budget what would u recommend in taht price range
